Hi everyone,
A "tea length" dress (so named because it's what a woman would wear to the tea table in the 1920s, according to Emily Post) falls about three to four inches below the knee and has lately become a great evening alternative to the floor-sweeping gown. It is a very feminine yet elegant silhouette and a very conservative option for the bride or bridesmaids not willing to commit to the traditional floor length dress. Today I am sharing 5 tips on how to wear a tea-length dress.
- Look for Fits that Float away from your Legs;
- Cinch your waistline to create balance;
- Wear with stiletto and strap sandals. Heels length should be a minimum 4'';
- Keep accessories simple;
- Go for a soft and feminine hairstyle (updos or beach waves);
- Think off-shoulder or plunging V-neck for an ultra-sexy yet elegant look;

DeleteI love this length of the dress. Your dress is so beautiful. I agree with the tips. This length needs high heels but not too high for me. It is also uncomfortable. Thank you for sharing this post with My Red Carpet.

lol Anna. You can lower the heels to 3''. I am petite and enjoy the extra inches that a 4-5" can provide :-)
