5 ways to wear your "mom jeans"

Happy Saturday everyone,

I hope you are having a great day weekend. A mom jeans can be very challenging to wear and to be honest it is not a personal favorite. A mom jeans usually consists of a high waist rising above the navel, making the buttocks appear disproportionately longer, larger, and flatter. They have excess space in the zipper, crotch and leg areas. The jeans are usually in a solid, light-blue color, with no form of stone washing or fading. Here's 5-ish ways that you can actually wear them.

  1. With a blazer and crisp white tee and a statement pair of heels;
  2. With button-down shirt and heels ;
  3. with a 90's inspired t-shirt and sneakers;
  4. With turtleneck shirt and loafers;
  5. With your favorite sweater-shirt and mules.

Don't forget that your blazer can also be a denim jacket or a leather moto jacket. Also, don't forget to accessorize them with a nice belt.

Today, I am wearing my mom jeans with an oversized tee knotted on the side. You can also go for a decent-length cropped top (not too cropped). Am I making any sense? Anyway, how would you wear your mom jeans? Comment below and let's have some fun.

    1. lol - a mom jeans can be tricky to style but if you really want to wear them- you need to find the trick that works for you... for me it was the belt and the crop top that accentuate my thin waist.
