10 ways to wear your cargo pants

Hi everyone,

Cargo pants are back, but they're nothing like you remember. Before you run for the hills, hear me out: These are not the pants you idolized during your teenage pop punk phase in the early 2000s. No, these are ones that can be worn by grown ups who staunchly believe ties do not go with Hanes tank tops. A pair of cargo pants is perfect for almost any occasion. For a simple everyday look try wearing them with a plain white tee, polo shirt or cami with some cute heeled sandals. Today I am sharing 10 ways to wear your cargo pants.

This post is sponsored by Adidas USA

Hi everyone,

After my weight loss journey back in 2018, I became very anxious about my health, my weight, and mostly about not putting on the weight back again. I talked to my nutritionist and did a lot of research at the beginning of 2019. One of my goals was actually to maintain my ideal weight throughout the year and also to be more active. Not only I was able to maintain the weight, I surprisingly and happily dropped an additional 10 pounds; taking me from 125 lbs to 115 lbs. I currently weigh 113 lbs. I’m 5’1’ so my BMI is normal.

5 ways to wear your "mom jeans"

Happy Saturday everyone,

I hope you are having a great day weekend. A mom jeans can be very challenging to wear and to be honest it is not a personal favorite. A mom jeans usually consists of a high waist rising above the navel, making the buttocks appear disproportionately longer, larger, and flatter. They have excess space in the zipper, crotch and leg areas. The jeans are usually in a solid, light-blue color, with no form of stone washing or fading. Here's 5-ish ways that you can actually wear them.

5 Fashion Trends to avoid in 2020

Hi everyone,

I know these type of contents may sometimes be very polarising because there's no one size fits all when it comes to fashion trend. As a personal stylist, I mostly focus on how a fashion trendy item will easily be incorporated into our daily lifestyle. I also focus on fashion faux-pas that people think are ok simply because it's trendy regardless of where they are going. Today I am sharing 5 fashion trends to avoid in 2020.  In my opinion these items are either tricky to wear, not practical, too old-fashioned, not flattering for most body shape or simply won't be sticking around too long to worth your investment.

5 Tips on How to wear Paperbag-waist pants

 Hi everyone,

With their looser fit, paperbag waist pants are known for their comfort. However, they can also be an incredibly chic piece for your wardrobe that you can wear to the office, school, running errands, or even a night out. Because of the ruffled waistline and extra volume, they can often be tricky to style. The key with paperbag waist pants is balancing the looser fit on bottom with a tighter or shorter top. Not only does that provide a more proportioned look, it helps the waist detail stand out. Today I am sharing 5 tips to help you create the most flattering silhouette for your figure.

Fashion Trends 2020 : What to expect?

Hi everyone,

While  I agree with some critics stating that the designers have been very lazy and uncreative over the past 2-3 years; I am looking forward to 2020 as most of the fashion trends that are expected to be seen in 2020 are already available in my closet. I just need some tailoring to make them fit my new size 0-2 (👧).

New Year Resolutions - My Top 5 goals for 2020

Hi everyone

A New Year's resolution is a tradition in which a person resolves to continue good practices, change an undesired trait or behavior, to accomplish a personal goal, or otherwise improve their life. When I published the "2019 year end reflection and review" post, I noticed some comments stating it was non-achievable to set your mind on something and actually work hard to achieve it. So today, I would like to share some tips, based on my personal experience, on how you make the "new year, new me" into a reality. I actually prefer "new year, better me".
