First of all, I apologize for not having any blogpost on Saturday. I should’ve scheduled it in advance but I thought I would have enough time, energy or strength to do it all. If you are close to me, you know that we had lost a family member. I am not here to vent about it but I thought I would share the reason why there were no release last Saturday and why I have been absent on social media.
So, do you often buy cute dresses for no special occasion and although you are unsure of when you will wear them, you say to yourself: why not? Because it’s cute or because you are sure that you will find a place to wear it anyway. That’s exactly the case for these 2 dresses featured here today.
I felt in love for the softness of the peach gown and although, it reminds me of a bridesmaid dress, I figured that I will surely find an occasion to rock it. And I actually did wear it couple months later to attend a wedding anniversary reception 3 years ago. Then, we had pregnancy, everything that comes along with it: the overweight and the big boobs; and now it is a little too big for me. Funny! I will still keep it in my wardrobe. I am sure I can get creative and find a way to wear it again.
Well, I couldn’t resist: the color, the price the style. Everything was right. It is a little too simple for my style to wear at a formal event but I dress it down for brunch, dinner with hubby by pairing it with a cute pair of golden flat sandals, my hair in a high bun and a cute medium size satchel. I dressed it up a little bit for the photoshoot but thinking about it now, I should've worn it the way I would in real life. Would you like to see how I dress-up and dress-down some of my clothing? Comment below and let me know.
Last but not least, I would like to thank @TeteEnl’Hair for letting us using their space. We had fun shooting. On that note, we will be having some office outfit posts for next week. It is a highly requested one so stay tune.
Thank you so much for stopping by and don’t forget to sign up for new blogpost notification. Follow me on Instagram, twitter and Facebook to stay in the know.

DeleteHi! I know this is kind of off-topic but I needed to ask.
ReplyDeleteDoes building a well-established blog like yours take a massive amount
work? I'm brand new to writing a blog however I do write in my
journal every day. I'd like to start a blog so I will be able to
share my experience and thoughts online.
Please let me know if you have any kind of suggestions
or tips for new aspiring blog owners. Thankyou!
Stopping by from the High Five for Friday link up. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I'll be praying for you and your family this morning. Both of these dresses are so lovely on you! I adore the softness of the peach and the vibrant pop of color with the purple. You definitely can't go wrong with either!
ReplyDeleteThank you Brenda for your kind words. And I agree with you on the dresses. Definitely depends on the mood :-)
DeleteI am so sorry for your loss. Sending you lots of healing energy.
ReplyDeleteBoth of these dresses are gorgeous on you. I really love the purple probably because I can wear that color more so than peach. And I have definitely purchased formal dresses because the price was right even when I didn’t need them for any specific occasion. Sometimes I will totally dress them down by wearing sneakers or combat boots and a denim or leather jacket...it makes them good for daily wear!

Purple is a great color on you. I like to see more casual outfits as this is what I wear 99% of the time. Lise
ReplyDeleteTwo fabulous dresses, both lovely colours. I'm not buying dresses at the moment because I find I hardly ever wear them. A shame because I love a good dress! Thanks for joining #WowOnWednesday!
